Colin holds an MDT Mountaineering Instructor Award, an NQF Mountaineering Guide (level 7) and Nature Site Guide Level 2. He is registered with Tourism KwaZulu-Natal. Colin is also a Rescue Organiser the Mountain Club's rescue team. Actively climbing and mountaineering since 2003, he has climbed in Scotland, the United Sates, The Alps and Canada. Colin is also a level 3 Rope Access Technician.

Since 1978 he has climbed at almost every major venue in southern Africa as well as other mountain areas, including the Andes, Canadian Rockies, French and Swiss Alps, the Atlas Mountains, Kilimanjaro and Mt. Kenya.

Gustav escaped the city after high school and set about building Roc & Rope Adventures in the Mecca of South African Sport climbing - Waterval Boven. Between traveling the world and developing local climbing, Gustav has extensive training involvement with the Tshwane University of Technology's outdoor program as well as private guiding and instruction.

Gustav is the owner and founder of Itchyfeet SA (2011), a river and mountain guiding operation based in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Not only is Gustav a certified trip leader but also a certified river guide instructor for the African Paddling Association, all of which takes place on rivers throughout South Africa. In addition to guiding on the river, Gustav also holds a PhD in the field of recreation and leisure. He is also a multi-pitch rock climbing guide, instructor and assessor for mountain walking and an active rescue organiser for the Mountain Club of South Africa’s search and rescue.

Nic holds an MDT Mountain Leader Instructor award and is also a specialist nature and culture guide. He lived in the KZN Drakensberg for 25 years and has also spent substantial time in Canada, the British Lake District, North Wales, and the Scottish Highlands. Nic is active in adventure tourism regulation through the SABS and ISO

Climbing since 1992 and travelling internationally since 2002, Tristan has pursued big walls, alpine ice and rock across 5 continents and brings his passion for the mountains into the courses he instructs and the adventures that he guides.
